I 'vae played it 23% into the game... and it hasn't frozen once for me. I've also been playing online the whole time and I've heard a few people were having trouble there also. Hopefully it will be resolved soon because it's an amazing game.

Epic are more tech-savy, engine creators than good developers... they have never made anything except Unreal and Gears. Even Ratchet and Clank is a 19 million selling franchises now. Maybe 20 million by now.
Resistance was given over 30 AAA reviews. Yes, it did have some low res textures and Insomniac admitted the controls weren't prefect but it was a launch title. It HAD to release with the console.
